Reporting directly to the Director of Internal Control & Crypto Projects, your mission is to lead the IT Governance and Compliance initiatives.

As the dedicated technical expert, you will be responsible for analyzing our current IT environment and building a formal, scalable framework for IT risk and policy.

You will work in the internal control team to ensure overall project alignment, and will serve as the essential technical liaison to our IT, Security, and Engineering teams. Your objective is to ensure our critical systems are robust, controlled, and aligned with industry security standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and confirm all in-scope IT applications and infrastructure regarding governance and security standards.

  • Take full ownership of the ITGC portion of our compliance framework.

  • Conduct a detailed gap analysis of existing IT controls against internal policies and best practices.

  • Partner directly with system owners (IT, Security) to optimize document all key ITGCs, covering:

    • Logical Access and Identity Management.

    • Change Management and approvals.

    • IT Operations and Incident Management.

  • Identify, document, and test the reliability of IT dependencies, including automated workflows and key system reports.

  • Develop and execute a monitoring and testing plan to validate the newly formalized ITGCs.

  • Document testing results and maintenance records centrally.

  • Provide clear progress reports on the ITGC workstream (progress, gaps, remediation) directly to the Director of Internal Control.

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for all IT-related requests from stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid experience within an IT Audit or IT Control capacity, whether consulting or in-house

  • Experience in the tech industry or a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • Executive partnership and the ability to influence various stakeholders across an organization, inclusive of management

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • A broad appreciation of cultural sensitivity and awareness
