The team:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intellectual Property (IP) Intern to join our Legal team, focusing on but not limited to Trademarks and Brand Protection. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and complex high-tech environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior legal counsel and cross-functional teams.

What you’ll be doing:
Trademark portfolio management:
Conducting preliminary searches for new trademark applications
Assisting in the preparation and filing strategies of trademarks globally
Working on trademark oppositions
Contributing to key projects and assisting in the launch of new products and/or services
Brand Protection and Enforcement:
Supporting in disputes and contentious cases relating to our brand protection
Tracking and managing brand protection initiatives
Liaising with external agents and brand protection agencies
Legal Research and Analysis:
Conducting legal research on various IP laws, regulations, and case precedents
Applying AI in trademark and copyright matters, while analysing and addressing the legal challenges posed by AI-generated content
Support:
Assisting in the creation of training materials for internal stakeholders
Depending on business needs, you will be prepared to support across a wide range of IP areas, including patents, copyright, AI, OpenSource, Web3 issues and emerging digital technologies, in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment
What we’re looking for:
You are a trainee lawyer or currently pursuing a law degree (J.D. or equivalent) or an advanced degree in Intellectual Property law
You have excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills in English, allowing you to interact with international teams and to work on matters in English. Your French is operational (B2 level)
You are comfortable using AI-powered tools
You have a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
You are flexible, personable, and willing to embrace change
You are self-motivated, resilient, and able to prioritize matters
You have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Prior experience in intellectual property, specifically trademark law
Familiarity with brand protection is a plus
