At Ledger, we’re proud to be the global platform for digital assets and Web3, with over 20% of the world’s crypto assets secured through our Ledger devices. The team: Working within a team of 12 people, the General Accountant ensures the daily operational maintenance and monitoring of the accounting cycles, in close collaboration with the Senior Accountant and under the supervision of the Accounting Director. They guarantee the quality of the data recorded in the NetSuite ERP and the compliance of the entries, playing an essential role in the reliability of financial information.
What you’ll be doing:
Daily Accounting and Cycles:
Enter, verify, and reconcile (match) day-to-day transactions (purchases, sales, bank, expense reports).
Manage and monitor the recording of fixed assets and the calculation of depreciation.
Ensure bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring.
Participate in the preparatory work for the monthly closing (provisions, A/P accruals/PPD, adjustments).
Participate in the necessary restatements to convert local accounting data to IFRS frameworks.
NetSuite Expertise
Be a key user of the NetSuite ERP for data entry and extraction.
Assist the Senior Accountant and the Accounting Director on technical specificities related to the use of NetSuite.
Ensure a smooth flow of information between NetSuite and peripheral systems.
Compliance and Tax Declarations
Prepare the necessary elements for tax declarations (VAT, CVAE, etc.) under the supervision of the Senior Accountant/Accounting Director.
Participate in account justification during internal and external audits.
Reporting and Support
Compile and provide basic accounting data for the preparation of financial reporting.
Prepare and file supporting documentation for accounting entries.
What we’re looking for:
Holder of a master’s degree in accounting or an equivalent degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting, with strong exposure to ERP environments.
ERP: Essential mastery of NetSuite.
Essential professional English (written and spoken) for documentation and interactions within the international group.
IT: Daily user of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables).
Accounting: Solid knowledge of French accounting principles, IFRS norms, and full accounting cycles.
Ability to collaborate effectively with the rest of the accounting team.
Proactivity in identifying and correcting anomalies.
