Founded in 2014, Ledger is the global platform for digital assets and Web3. Over 20% of the world’s crypto assets are secured through our Ledger Nanos. Headquartered in Paris and Vierzon, with offices in UK, US, Switzerland and Singapore, Ledger has a team of more than 700 professionals developing a variety of products and services to enable individuals and companies to securely buy, store, swap, grow and manage crypto assets – including the Ledger hardware wallets line with more than 6 millions units already sold in 200 countries.
The Hardware Engineering team at Ledger is looking for a key addition to its team. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the team and suppliers.
Your mission
● Drive the project cross/functional teams to hit goals and timelines
● Interface with Mechanical engineering, Firmware and Electronics team on a daily basis
● Manage suppliers and partners to deliver milestones
● Report on progress and communicate blockers in a synthetic manner
● Present clearly the technical choices and trade offs to the leadership team
● Anticipate blockers, establish paths to resolution
● Build a network internally and become the go-to person for our product
● Manage industrialization steps closely with the OEM partner
● Drive Prototypes iterations
● Manage BOM costs with engineering and supply chain
● Stay close to the Operations organization at all times
● Define and improve processes and best practice for internal development cycles
What we’re looking for
● 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry
● Track record shipping devices to market successfully
● Experience in project management , electronics or mechanical engineering
● A well-organized, crisp communicator
● A creative and proactive mindset
● A great attitude and not afraid to get his/her hands dirty
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Willingness to deal with uncertainty and change
● Curiosity about the crypto / blockchain industry a big plus
● Fluent English speaking and writing skills
