Our Employee Engagement and Company Culture team is in search of an Internal Events and Communications Coordinator. As part of the bigger People Team, this is the opportunity to work in a global role directly impacting Ledger's culture.

This is an exciting career opportunity, as you'll get exposure to every team at Ledger, working with multiple departments, senior leaders, and executives across the business.

Your mission

  • Design clear and effective processes for the use of global communication channels such as Slack, emails, newsletters, and our Intranet
  • Create and manage content on our intranet, implementing and maintaining the processes to keep information accurate and up-to-date
  • Create content for our internal newsletter and digital signage screens across Ledger offices and hubs
  • Ensure Ledger employees are empowered and educated on how to use our communication platforms and tools
  • Organize internal events from company All-hands, Ask Me Anything, Ledger Talks, to more Ledger socials, Legendary Days, hackathons, holiday parties, summer BBQ, etc.
  • Create compelling content that showcases our company culture and values, including employee stories, videos, and social media content
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of our team's initiatives and use data to continuously improve our approach
  • You'll also have the opportunity to spearhead our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and our Corporate Responsibility initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • University degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken 
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar roles 
  • Impeccable project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Top-notch stakeholder management, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives
  • Self-starter and avid learner who is creative and passionate about communications 

  • What would be great to have, but not deal-breakers: 
  • Experience in working effectively with a range of people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and motivations
  • Experience using Google Suite, Slack, LumApps, Canva.
