As a Developer Ecosystem Product Director, you will be the bridge between the crypto / blockchain ecosystem and Ledger. You’ll be reporting into the VP Product and you’ll work alongside a strong team of product managers and engineers based in France and the UK. You’ll also work closely with the business teams to support project delivery and deliver on shared business goals.
We’re looking for someone deep in the crypto ecosystem to manage and drive adoption of our developer platform. The role includes product ownership, defining which blockchains, coins, tokens and features to support, as well as supply and distribution, i.e. liaising with the ecosystem to ensure they integrate or adopt our technology.
Your mission
- Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners in our ecosystem (e.g. blockchains, wallets, dApps)
- Work with engineering, wider product org, marketing, business, legal and leadership to identify, and execute new ecosystem opportunities that support our growth strategy
- Research and identify ecosystem development opportunities in target market segments Reach out to relevant projects - for partnership or investment opportunities Negotiate deals with partners to expand support of our platform
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of the crytpo wallet, blockchain, crypto, DeFi and NFT spaces
- Proven experience (at least 8 to 10 years) in a Product Management leadership role
- Ability to understand our technology and help us position ourselves strategically in the ecosystem
- Research and identify new crypto projects
- Manage the ecosystem support roadmap
- Infuse ecosystem knowledge to Ledger internal teams (Engineering, Business, Marketing)Create internal and market analysis on various technology trends, new initiatives, and potential investment targets
- Ability to manage the teams composing the Dev Ecosystem organization (Developers Products Managers and Developer Relations)
- Fluency in English, French as a Bonus
- Excellent written and oral business communication and presentation skills
- A technical background and a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem
- A successful track record in negotiating deals and partnerships
- Ability to build and manage relationships with tech, product and business leaders
