The team & the role purpose : Ledger is looking for a nimble, culture-driven Community Manager to join our Brand Development team. You’ll be at the forefront of Ledger’s presence across X (Twitter), Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram—watching trends, crafting culturally relevant copy, and sparking activations that connect Ledger’s mission to broader culture.
This role is about speed, engagement, and cultural fluency. You’ll collaborate with our Campaign Manager, Creative Strategist, and KOL/Influencer Manager, while partnering with external communities and projects to put in place initiatives that drive conversation and growth.
What you’ll be doing:
Trendspotting & Engagement
Monitor crypto Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram to spot emerging trends and conversations.
Quickly propose and execute engagement ideas that bridge Ledger’s value proposition with cultural moments.
Lead an always-on engagement strategy across platforms—replies, memes, threads, AMAs, Twitter Spaces, and community activations.
Copywriting & Narrative Building
Write sharp, witty, and human copy that connects Ledger’s mission to crypto culture, internet trends, and broader cultural conversations.
Ensure Ledger’s brand voice is consistent but flexible enough to adapt to different platforms and communities.
Community Partnerships & Activations
Build and maintain relationships with crypto communities, DAOs, projects, and creators.
Proactively propose and organize social activations (Spaces, Reddit AMAs, collabs) to grow awareness and engagement.
Partner with influencers/KOLs and external communities to amplify campaigns and expand reach.
Collaboration & Execution
Work with the Campaign Manager to align community engagement with product launches and roadmap milestones.
Collaborate with the Creative Strategist to ensure activations reflect Ledger’s tone and marketing direction.
Brief designers and the in-house studio when needed, and provide feedback to ensure speed and quality of execution.
Growth & Distribution
Drive measurable growth across Ledger’s social channels, with a strong focus on X and TikTok.
Develop and implement distribution tactics to maximize content reach and impact (timing, format, amplification loops, cross-platform leverage).
Experiment with growth mechanics and platform-native strategies to scale followers, engagement, and visibility.
Analyze performance of activations and distribution strategies, sharing insights and iterating quickly.
What we’re looking for:
2–4 years of community management or social media experience (crypto/web3 strongly preferred).
Deep understanding of crypto Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, and Instagram culture—you live online.
Proven track record of driving community growth and engagement through activations, partnerships, and smart content distribution.
Excellent copywriting skills: able to connect product value to cultural context in a way that feels authentic.
Experience building relationships with projects, creators, and communities.
Data-driven mindset with ability to adapt strategies quickly.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
This is a freelance assignment of 3 months.
